Food riots. Worldwide rice shortages. Soaring commodity prices. Putting food on the table is becoming a global problem. Sustainable agriculture may have solutions for some of our most pressing and immediate needs.
Dr. Thomas Tomich is the Director of the Agricultural Sustainability Institute, and Professor of Community Development, Environmental Science, and Policy, at the University of California, Davis.
